I think the event went well! Katie B and I spent the days driving around to all the campsites in the CanAm delivering Ice to rodeo contestants and fixing coolers! The contestants and their parents really appreciated the delivery of ice to them and their coolers directly with the intense heat. The only issue we had was our hotel misplacing our packages of T-Latches. Eventually on the last day of the event the hotel found our missing packages and we were able to deliver and fix a lot of people’s coolers who we couldn’t fix earlier in the week. Overall we got great feedback from contestants and felt like we accomplished the goal!
The main ice booth we didn’t use as much because we hand delivered the ice, instead of people coming to find us. It was in a parking lot, kind of hard to find. The hydration station was close to the arena and the contestants loved it. It just got a little muddy and made the stations hard to move later but probably hard to avoid in the dirt of a horse arena.
